On 7/12/17, the Northumberland County dog attack attorney provided a free consultation to a woman from Northumberland Pennsylvania whose son was bitten by a dog on July 1st. He was walking on a public sidewalk when a terrier bit his right leg. Their family doctor prescribed antibiotics and supplied the woman with information re: the signs of potential infections.
Attorney Newell explained the process by which the PA Department of Health becomes involved in the 10 day quarantine procedure. He also advised the woman to give her full cooperation to the Northumberland County Dog Warden. Since the aggressive dog was on a leash at the time of the dog attack, there might not be a violation of the PA Dog Law.
